This month Jungle Media applied for, tested for and was awarded a drone license from Transport Canada to fly over Canadian provinces, subject to current regulations and restrictions. This capability will be useful for any future visits to our northern neighbor. In related news, Jungle Media also completed the 2-year review and recertification of FAA Part 107 for commercial flights over the United States.

We recently completed an overview marketing video for the Newberg branch of Allegra. The local owner at Allegra, Karl Hughes, wanted a video to provide a quick overview of their many services. In addition to regular social media posts, this is a part of the service that we are provding to help boost their visibility.

This new tool will allow us to continue to use our investment in top of the line “L” series lenses for still imagery of products or persons. However, its compact form will allow for usage on a gimbal or lightweight tripod when portability into small or remote locations is necessary. In addition, the newer DIGIC X processor, with 4K 60p video capability will add stunning detail to future work.

Johnson Flooring in Newberg is right downtown next to the Cameo Theatre. We have been creating social media content clips for them for several years. Each one gives an insight into the types of products or services that they carry. No one would ever know that a small store front would carry dozens and dozens of different product types with many hundreds of samples to choose from including carpet, laminate, real wood, luxury vinyl and more.
