My goodness, have I seen a lot of changes over the last 30 years. From Standard Definition Television, VHS tapes, 20 minute long marketing videos, crews of 5 or more people per shoot, cameras that weighed 20 pounds or more, to 4K flying drone cameras that weigh mere ounces, YouTube and Facebook posts that can be boosted nationwide. Most of my competitors from 1996 are long gone. Jungle Media is still here, because we have transformed our business through 4 or 5 major technology and stylistic transitions since we began. Our increasingly popular and affordable “package” approach to production has replaced 90% of our custom budget projects. Customers may not know exactly what they need, they just know they want to tell everyone what they have to offer. Most of the younger folks in this business don’t even really know what professional production entails. Shot composition, proper exposure and focus techniques, color correction, professional audio capture, audio sweetening, compositing techniques, working with or without a script, interviewing techniques, cost effective titles and graphics, B-roll shooting, commercial drone shots, and just video/photography basics, there is a reason that programs that we create for you look and sound so good. Add to all of this over 30 years of working with people from every walk of life, from governors and bishops, to CEO’s, business owners, shop floor employees, and just plain folks who need to be “captured” at their best. 9 out of 10 people are not real comfortable talking to a camera. However, after hundreds if not more than 1,000 interviews, I can help people put their best face forward, regardless of their comfort level. 30 years of staying relevant can benefit virtually any customer who might need help with their marketing and training content needs.
