Additional training content to be produced by Jungle Media.

Earlier this year, Jungle Media was chosen by the State of Oregon, Construction Contractors Board to produce a training video on lead based paint renovation. This week, Jungle Media was hired to produce an additional 60-minute training program for construction contractors. Principal photography for the new project will be taking place at building sites across the Willamette Valley over the next month. The emphasis for the new program will be on proper licensing requirements and enforcement. Properly licensed contractors ensure public safety, homeowner protection and a level playing field for business. This new project further emphasizes the experience of Jungle Media to produce professional training content for a wide range of topics and business needs.

AutoMap selects Jungle Media for marketing video.

Recently, Jungle Media was selected by AutoMap, LLC to produce a marketing video for their new product launch. Principal photography has already been conducted and the video will be available soon. This latest project took advantage of the C100 cinema system and will feature the Canon 50mm F1.2 lens for remarkable separation of the on-screen talent from the backdrop of the auto dealer showroom. Location shooting was conducted at Loren Berg Chevrolet in Newberg. Actor Tanya Elder, represented by Q6 Talent agency was featured on-camera. The JVC GY-HM700 was used for secondary camera coverage. Many thanks to Loren Berg Chevrolet and salesman Brian Dupree for their contribution in providing and coordinating the location. Aerial Drone footage was captured with the skill of Kelly Griffin at KGCreative. This latest project continues the efforts of Jungle Media to provide consistent, effective and affordable video production for both business marketing and training efforts.

Jungle Media completes “How to adjust” video for the Duzi slider

DuziSliderNews

Customer support video completed for the Duzi slider

After purchasing the new Duzi slider from Cinevate, Jungle Media completed this “How to” adjust the slider video as a support tool for product owners. “How to” videos are one of the most effective marketing tools, even though their initial purpose is “training”. Within 5 minutes of launching the “How to adjust the Duzi slider” video, it appeared near the top of the first page in search results using the “Adjust” “Duzi” and “Slider” keywords.

Jungle Media adds Cinevate slider to production shelf

24″ Cinevate Duzi SLider

In keeping with the addition of cinema recording capability to our traditional video capability, we have just added the Cinevate 24″ Duzi Slider to our production shelf. The new cinema style cameras allow for more flexibility with movement than ever before. Now we can add subtle movement to B-roll shots, with a slider that offers side to side, forward and back as well as up and down motion. Along with the recently purchased Canon 50mm F1.2L prime lens, we will be able to create stunning product shots. The Cinevate can be tripod mounted or utilized on the floor or table.  Several of the new projects on our production calendar will be making use of this capability.  Samples will be posted when complete.

Jungle Media adds new lens to Cinema Toolbox

Jungle Media has just completed the purchase of the acclaimed Canon EF 50mm F1.2 lens.  This lens will allow for extreme short depth of field, producing silky soft backgrounds for any shooting situation.

Largest aperture on the market for maximum background control.

Combined with the other 5 lenses in our cinema bag, this lens will be especially useful for recording interviews in tight locations or where the background is unattractive or distracting. The creamy soft bokeh and fast aperture will help generate appealing imagery in the harshest conditions. We will be sure to point out samples in the near future.

Old Animation segment updated to HD

Older programs that were produced in Standard Definition still prove to be valuable.

Jungle Media “remasters” legacy animation to HD

While we are in our 5th year of HD production, some of our customers are now looking to update older programs that have been effective marketing or training tools.  The move to larger online video files has prompted a series of inquiries about “remastering” older programs. In this example, a sixty second piece of animation was recreated moving from a size of 640 x 480 to 1920 x 1080, more than 6 times the resolution.  By reusing the original audio and using the archived low resolution files as a template, the cost to convert the file was much lower than starting from scratch.  For more information on remastering SD content, give me a call.

Jungle Media Upgrades Production Equipment

Effective October 18, 2014, Jungle Media has upgraded the second camera in our inventory to the JVC GY-HM700. This camera has replaced our flagship B-roll camera for the past 5 years, the JVC GY-HD200.

HD Video Production Capability

Jungle Media adds JVC GY-HM700 HD tapeless camera to equipment list.

In addition to adding higher resolution support, the acquisition of the GY-HM700 includes the purchase of the superior Fujinon XT17xs4.5BRM production lens.

Our location shooting capability now includes the Canon C100 cinema system for interviews, handheld applications and short depth of field shots, along with the HM700 for fixed tripod long range outdoor shots and/or long/steady zoom shots.

The addition of the XT17s4.5BRM lens includes smoother zoom capabilities in both fast and short intervals. So the next time a shoot requires long reach, such as outdoor adventure shots, large factory or warehouse footage, live auditorium presentations, press events, tracking of distant objects on the water, in the sky or from a distant hill, the results we can provide for you will be exceptional.

2014 marks the first time that we have replaced two camera systems within the same year. We are committed to providing the best equipment for the needs of our target customer base, while managing our overhead to provide lowest cost / highest value services to the marketing and training communications industry.

As always, should your production require specialized equipment that is not in our inventory, we are always able to rent additional cameras or lenses for your specific shoot.

Jungle Media purchases Canon C100 cinema system

Jungle Media has just invested in the Canon C100 cinema camera system. The cinema camera system allows for movie style, shallow depth of field footage to be captured in virtually any light situation whether outdoors or in small internal spaces. The cinema camera system was developed by Canon to provide DSLR style imagery with the professional features and controls necessary for the demands of location shooting.

Jungle Media C100 Cinema Camera

Jungle Media purchases Canon C100 Cinema Camera.

This new camera, combined with an array of 5 Canon EF lenses, will allow unprecedented flexibility for your next shoot. Our lens list includes 2 professional zoom lenses (24-105mm F4.0L IS, and 10-22mm F3.5) as well as 3 prime lenses (100mm F2.0, 50mm, F1.4, 28mm F1.8)

Of course, there are also many situations that will benefit from the professional features found on our traditional HD video camera. Whether a long zoom, with or without a smooth pan or tilt, the 16 to 1 lens on our JVC GY-HD200u coupled with the precise movement of the Vinten Vision 5 fluid head tripod will continue to make appropriate fixed shots or live events look just great.

I am excited to bring this new equipment into the field for upcoming projects. For a partial list of our current equipment, visit the new Equipment page at http://www.junglemedia.com/equipment.
